    Secure the Password

    • Minimum password length
    • Enforcement of strong password (mix of letters, numbers and special characters)
    • Password history to prevent immediate reuse of old password

    Secure the User Account

    • Auto account lockout after failed attempts.
    • Ability to suspend your end user account & access to application when they go on leave from a single dashboard

    Track the User Account Usage

    • Last login date/time (success & fail)
    • Audit trail of logins & request for password reset
    • Audit trail of access to application (launch app)

    How You Can Protect Your Account

    myBusiness is a portal to access all your application and data. As a myBusiness user, you play an important role for protecting your account. Check out the following tips.

    Useful tips

    • Set your anti-virus and anti-spyware software to perform automatic updates daily.
    • Set your operating system to perform automatic updates daily.
    • Do not use easy to guess password for your account.
    • Do not expose your password.
    • Do not click on links from emails or install any programs from doubtful origins.
    • Do not login to myBusiness from PCs that you suspect are compromised.
    • Remove file and printer sharing when your PC is connected to the Internet.

    Dubious emails seeking user ID and Password

    • SingTel myBusiness does not send emails asking / soliciting for user ID and password.

    When in doubt of the authenticity of the message / caller

    • Contact us at 1606 to verify authenticity of the message / caller.

    You can protect yourself from online, mobile and other forms of fraud by learning more about them.

    • Malware (malicious software) & Virus
      • Install antivirus, and ensure the software is updated.
