SPADE

The Singtel Software Procurement and Distribution for Enterprise (SPADE) Portal is designed for organisations that want to procure, distribute and bill Microsoft 365 licences to its company entities under one agreement.

How it works:

  • Organise and manage licences into different billing entities under a single Master Service Agreement
  • Provide an overview, transaction history and activity log for licence purchase and allocation
  • Fully integrated with Microsoft 365 Partner Center and Singtel’s billing system

SPADE is targeted at mid to large enterprises that need to distribute and charge back Microsoft 365 licences to different billing entities or geographical locations.

Does this portal support all software licences that my company has subscribed to?

The SPADE portal currently supports customers whom purchased Microsoft 365 licences from Singtel. There is no immediate plan to support other software licences at the moment.

My company is using Microsoft 365 currently and we are charging back the software license cost to several entities. Can SPADE simplify this process?

Yes, SPADE is able to simplify this process. Once a customer enters into a Microsoft 365 Master Service Agreement with Singtel, we will create individual billing accounts for the respective entities. Singtel will then be able to bill the entities based on the licenses used.

Does SPADE work if my company has multiple tenants and entities?

Yes. SPADE supports multiple Microsoft primary domains or tenants across different billing entities. Contact us for a customised consultation.

Will SPADE replace the Microsoft 365 Admin Console? Can I perform user assignment, password reset and other tenant-related functions with SPADE?

No. SPADE is a license procurement and billing portal that allows you to buy and transfer licences among entities. For tenant-related functions including user assignment, password reset, please continue to use the Microsoft 365 Admin Console.

How many administrator users can I assign?

By default, there will be 1 group administrator. More group administrators can be added when the delegate admin option is purchased.

If I have more than one admin user who has the rights to purchase licenses, how do I keep track of all the transactions?

SPADE tracks every transaction made on the portal. The transaction history includes purchase details including the time, date, user name and the entity name for the specific transaction.

How secure is SPADE?

You can configure SPADE with a two-factor authentication login, or authentication through Microsoft 365 Active Directory.

What billing currencies are supported in SPADE?

By default, SPADE supports billing in Singapore Dollars and US Dollars.
